Roman Shades are among the best horizontal stacking treatments. The Soft-Fold or Flat Roman is considered “constructed” due to the fiberglass rods or stays that are inserted at horizontal intervals. The constructed version gives these shades dependable function raising and lowering in neat folds.

Below are two photos from a recent residential project. In the first photo there is a shaped cornice, banded with an accent color. the second photo shows a formal Kingston valance. Both treatments have Austrian Shades that follow the shape of the bow window.

We recently fabricated and installed a Snap Pleat Drapery treatment in a lobby of a residential tower in Flushing New York. The design was done by Heather Kane of Perkins Eastman.
