Description
The Shading Solution Pyramid is a specification strategy for Architects. The base of the Pyramid addresses the important elements of function that the Engineered Shading Solutions employ. These areas are: Sustainable Design, Dynamic Facades, Fabric Technologies, Level of Function and Automation & Integration.
Once the Architect determines these elements of function, then solutions can be specified. The Pyramid offers three solution option scenarios: Residential, Commercial and Facility Solutions. The peak of the Pyramid is the goal of Engineered Shading Solutions. This is where the specifications are written according to the premise that function dictates form, and the Shading Solutions will not add stress to the systems but actually reduce stress from the systems. As well as provide a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants.
