Drapery School for Architects

Decorating with Fabric is proud to announce its new educational service called: Drapery School for Architects. This is an onsite opportunity for your firm to get immersed into  the area of Residential or Commercial Drapery Design, Fabrics, Drapery Hardware, Motorization and Sustainable Draperies and Window Coverings.

The instructor Neil Gordon is the founder and owner of Decorating with Fabric. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry and has taught and consulted with hundreds of design professionals.

How it Works…

  • If you have an office in the New York Metro Area, you can set up your free 3 series program. You can choose 3 sessions from the list of courses below. Neil will come to your office for a one hour class. These classes will take place once per month over 3 consecutive months.
  • Since this is offered at no charge to the firm, it is not a Lunch & Learn program. However, you can have these sessions over  a BYO lunch hour.
  • Each of the sessions listed below offer AIA CES credit. Certificates of Completion will be provided upon the conclusion of the sessions.

Courses to Choose From:

  • Residential Drapery Design (AIA 1 CES Credit)
  • Commercial Drapery Design (AIA 1 CES Credit)
  • Fabrics (AIA 1 CES HSW SD Credit)
  • Drapery Hardware (AIA 1 CES Credit)
  • Motorization (AIA 1 CES Credit)
  • Sustainable Draperies (AIA 1 CES HSW SD Credit)
