Warm Romans
Warm Romans are double lined shades with special construction that creates air pockets which act as an insulator on the window. The sketch below shows how the pocket of air is created by the unique construction. Not visible is the second layer of flannel lining that is placed in between the face fabric and the lining.
Warm Drapery
Drapery can be an excellent insulator. A double lined drapery (as shown below) offers 300% better performance then an unlined drapery. Along with the double lined drapery it is recommended to have a top treatment that traps the air.
EcoSmart Shades
